This custom ring by Charlotte-based Jonathan Alistair Fine Jewelry was inspired by a delicate take on the classic — an oval center with pear-shaped sides held in fine prongs on a slender yellow gold band. Named for the wild flora of the Cape, it's designed to feel light on the hand and lasting on the finger.
